TOP 5 FAVOURITE PERFUMES

Hey guys! In today's post I am going to be sharing my top 5 favourite perfumes. Let me first begin by saying these perfumes aren't the only ones that I own but the ones I am about to list have got to be my TOP picks. Also, this does not mean that they are the best perfumes on the market- it is a simple matter of personal preference. I wear these perfumes on a regular basis and I am using genuine photos of the perfume bottles so excuse the ones that seem to be almost empty lol. I also won't be listing the prices of each perfume simply because they are of different prices in different online stores and perfume shops.

Now that we have that out the way, let's begin!

Flower Bomb by Viktor & Rolf

I have listed this perfume as the first one since it was what I reach for almost everyday! As the name states " Flower Bomb" it is definitely a floral explosion. This wonderful perfume is housed in a unique shaped bottle, almost resembling a grenade to add more vision to its name. This perfume explodes like a bouquet of flowers and leaves a trail of its floral scents along the way. This perfume honestly lasts all day and night when used and I absolutely love it.

Flor by Oscar de la Renta

Inspired by Oscar de la Renta's love for gardening, his signature scent was reimagined. This scent was introduced to me by my mom. She is the perfume queen lol. Unlike, Flower Bomb, Flor is a but lighter and natural. This fragrance combines the scents of fresh mango, neroli and a creamy musk to finish it off.

No 5 by Chanel

Coming in at number 3 is No 5 by Chanel. This perfume is the ultimate classic! It is a symbol of good taste and is one of the best selling around the world. No 5 has a heavy strong scent to me but with a nice touch of floral femininity.

Illicit by Jimmy Choo

Illicit is one of my newest purchases and it is also one of Jimmy Choo's newest perfumes that he has added to his list of many other things.  Even though this perfume is new, I can't get enough of it! I wear this to work all time. This perfume has a modern floral scent with a blend of notes including ginger, rose, jasmine, and sandalwood I do believe this would be any woman's favourite as well.

Reb'l Fleur by Rihanna

Last but not least, Reb'l fleur. In the photo above the bottle looks relatively full. That's because its a new bottle because I can't get enough of this stuff lol. This fragrance is intense but not too much. Its fruity and floral notes make it a perfect summer fragrance. Some of the notes included are: tuberose,  violet, and hibiscus.

SUMMER TREND - THE MAXI DRESS

Summer has finally arrived, and what better way to kick it off with other than fashion. Today, I'll share with you guys one of my staple pieces for summer, the maxi dress.

I purchased this dress about a month or two ago to wear at my cousin's wedding. The wedding was a spring themed wedding so I chose a spring themed dress. But after some time, I realised not only is this dress a spring dress, it can also be for the summer as well.

This dress is called " Roxberi Elle Keyhole Maxi Dress" and I got it in the colour hot pink. I purchased it on Nordstrom for $54.00 but it is currently on sale for $32.40 (not too bad) .  What I really love about this dress is the keyhole neckline. It's very different. Normally, when dresses have keyholes they can be found to the back of the dress. So by this being to front it definitely adds uniqueness to the dress. I love how flowy, light-weight and how voluminous it is as well ; perfect the hot summer days to come.
The ankle-baring asymmetrical hem adds an edginess to the dress also.

This dress can be worn during the day or night. At weddings, parties, dinners and more. It is perfect for any occasion.

But you guys know I could not wear such a beautiful dress without a few chic accessories. In the photo above, I wore a simple Michael Kors Watch, Forever 21 earrings and aviator sunglasses.

For shoes, I wore a pair of simple brown scrappy sandals from Forever21 so that I could be comfortable. This dress would look great with heels as well. Of your choice of course! If I had to wear heels with it I'd definitely wear nude ankle strap heels to retain a simple chic look.

Here are some maxi dresses that I'm loving right now:
