IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!

Hey guys, welcome back to my blog! Today, I'm going to share a few photos from birthday. I celebrated my birthday yesterday, December 11, and I turned 19! 🎉

First things first, the makeup. For my birthdays, makeup is a necessity, so you know I had to go to the best of the best for a nice beat down! lol Tamarei did my makeup and she has been doing my makeup for a while now. She's my go-to and she's the best! I will list her social media at the end of this post so you guys can check her out :)

Next is the outfit. This outfit is not what I originally planned to wear but I had to make it do and it came out great! Something nice, simple and affordable.

Next is location. For my dinner, I went to Tropical Fusion. It is a nice, small and intimate restaurant in Long Bay, Tortola. Even though it was far distance to drive, it was worth it. The food was amazing & the service was excellent. They also had live music, and Jess made the guy sing Happy Birthday to me. lol Thanks Jess!

After dinner, I went bar hopping with a few friends and called it a night. xoxo🍾

MAKEUP HAUL | COLOURPOP

I have been hearing about ColourPop for sometime now. I've heard they are extremely pigmented, moisturising, cheap, flaky, lol everything you could possibly think of about a makeup brand. I watched a few Youtube reviews from popular makeup artists and I've been keeping up with makeup artists on Instagram as well to see their opinion on this brand.

Well the yesterday, I decided now is the time to try this brand out myself. Unfortunately, they do not ship internationally as yet, so shout out to Body Glam BVI for hooking me up with a few of their products!

First things first, the packaging. I really like the packaging. It is simple, not too over-powering at all. It displays everything you need to know about what is inside of the box which is good. I really like the holographic effect as well "ULTRA MATTE LIP".  I think that is a really cool concept!

The colours I purchased were: Scrooge, Limbo, LAX, Silhouette, and Silk.

After swatching, I can say that, yes, they are extremely pigmented which I love! I did try them on my lips as well but didn't get the chance to take photos of that. But in my opinion, they are not drying or flaky. They go on quite easily but they are hell to come off! lol That is my only issue. Other than that they are bomb and I definitely need more :)xoxo

TRAVEL DIARIES THROWBACK | CALIFORNIA

Last summer, I took a trip to California with my aunt as my graduation present from her. I've always wanted to go there and see what it was like and I finally got the chance to.  We spent a week there and it was so much fun but I still wish we had the chance to explore more. Maybe I'll go again someday. I took many photos, but sadly they got lost. I don't know how but they did and I can't find them anywhere! So I'll just share with you guys some of the photos that I do have and I do encourage you guys to take a trip out there one day..

Oh we stayed in this beautiful hotel called the Millennium Biltmore in Downtown LA. It was beautiful! Such an exquisite hotel with helpful and wonderful employees. They were the best! In the middle of our stay, a movie was being filmed at the hotel as well. I thought that was really cool lolol.

On our first day, we didn't do much. We were tired from travelling,so we decided to stay at the  hotel and we took a stroll around the area to find a nice place to eat. And called it a day at 6pm LA time lol.

For some time, Chris, a local and up & coming photographer wanted to shoot with me. And a day ago it finally happened! We've been planning for a while, but whenever we decided to do it something would always come up. So one day, he popped out of nowhere and we made that day the day to shoot. I really love these photos! They are natural. All me. No makeup. No airbrush. No edge control lol(oh mehn I really needed it). My clothes weren't even ironed lol i'm so ashamed. But this is the real deal. The real me. How I look basically everyday.
